Maximum # of segments allowed for OLCI?

I have a trip coming up with a total of 6 segments (all on UA or UX metal and all with stopovers less than the 4 hour maximum) and when I went to do OLCI today, it said my itinerary was "not eligible" for on-line check-in on ual.com. After some Google and Flyertalk searching, I read something Fastair said about all IATA airlines considering one-way tickets with over 4 segments "conjunctive" tickets (having two separate ticket numbers for a single trip). Are these types of tickets not eligible for OLCI? You would think it would let you at least check-in for the first 4 segments.

Before SHARES has in place, the maximum I have ever OLCIed is 5 (It was the time that I used EQS to qualify).

Now I used PQM and SHARES has in place, I am not sure.

The most I've ever been able to obtain my b/p's for @ T-24, prior to the first flight is 3 segments. I have always needed to wait until T-24 prior to the 4th segment in order to check-in for that last flight.

Disclaimer --- I usually only do 4 segments per day on MR's and never do more as the OP indicates he is doing. However, 3 b/p's are all that are ever available on the first encounter @ T-24 prior to flight #1 in my experience.

Interesting...so maybe 3 is the magic number of segments for OLCI.

I do same quick turns with 5 segments in the same day and 1 on the next day. I can do OLCI up to the check in time for the return flight.

I noticed if I did not check in online i can get all 6 boarding passes from the kiosk. If I check in online, I can't get any of the boarding passes for the return flight (even within 24 hours of departure)

Last segment not showing in OLCI.

I'm flying BOS-IAH-MSY-IAD-BOS tomorrow. First segment starts at 6:30am, and last one (IAD-BOS) is at 10:00pm. When I went to do OLCI this morning, only the first three segments were available to check in. I just checked now, and the last segment still isn't showing. Is this normal behavior? I know I am >24hrs out from the last segment, but I was >24 out for the other segments when I checked in early this morning.

Look at your itinerary and see if everything other than your last segment is grouped together as if yes, chances are the system thinks your turnaround point is IAD-BOS where you should be able to OLCI at 10pm tonight
