Convert e-certificate to Miles
I received a $150 e-certificate as compensation for broken IFE on a transatlantic flight.
I would prefer to get miles instead as I can then use them for upgrades. How do I go about doing it. I know it's possible it just seems like noone in United knows how. |
They will probably only offer 5K or 7.5K miles, your probably better just keeping the e-cert.

I have converted miles to e-certs several times. Give CS a call. I'm sure they would be happy to do an e-cert to miles.

Maybe it depends on how much time left until expiration? and they would not do it if it's about to expire?
