UA.com booking by fare code not working

.suxxxxs refuses to display flights, when I specifiy fare class, e.g. Y, B, by showing:

"The cabin and the class of service entered are not compatible. Please change the cabin or class of service entered"

Anybody else finding the same? Any solutions?
After yesterday forcing certain flights, now this.

This may sound obvious, but are you, for example, entering business cabin and then searching for Y availability?

It works fine for me for the couple searches I just did.

The only class I see not working is P. isn't that business?

I am having a similar issue when searching for specific fares on a DXB-IAD flight (one-way) on 06/04.
It's showing Y9, B9, M9, E9, U9, but no results if I search specifically for E, U, or B fares.

If you select the economy class radio button, you need to enter an economy class fare - Y, B, M, H, X...

Fare bucket inventory does not mean there is a published fare in that bucket available for purchase.

ExpertFlyer shows the following fares available as a one-way for that date:

Code:

HLRFAEOW        UA        H        One-Way        931.00(USD)
MLRFAEOW        UA        M        One-Way        1168.00(USD)
Y77OW        UA        Y        One-Way        3351.00(USD)
C77OW        UA        C        One-Way        4370.00(USD)
J77OW        UA        J        One-Way        6305.00(USD)
F77OW        UA        F        One-Way        7253.00(USD)

Absolutely correct - and a search for H, M or Y does show available flights.

OP - suggest you request that this topic is closed or the thread renamed; it doesn't appear that this functionality is broken as you suggest.

No problem. It can be tricky doing the "search by fare code" on .bomb for exactly that reason. I've had times I had to search for W, V, and Q to get SWU/GPU-eligible fares, because even though all the flights were W9, there was no W fare which met the other criteria (min stay, day of departure, etc.).

Seems to be working now/today. Thx for all the suggestions!
One addl thing I noticed: the system "remembers" your last search, even after closing and reopening .com. So, if your new search is for a different cabin, make sure to change accordingly.
