Better get used to it, or as you noted, continue to fly someone else.
The common rabble hasn't seen the TA, but many details have been leaked.
If the leaks are accurate, Delta-like scope is almost a certainty.

If our MECs (Master Executive Councils) vote to send the TA to the membership it is expected that it will pass.
The lustre of the payrates alone will be enough to sway many voters.

The reality of it ... there's really not much we can do.
Most people really don't know the difference, but the RLA is much more constraining on what pilot unions can do vs "typical" industrial unions.
Our hands are pretty much tied, and mgt knows it. This is why contract negotiations are usually dragged out well past amendable dates.
(This was a catalyst of the pilot ire in 2000. The amenable date was Dec. '99. Negotiations opened a yr and a half prior to that with the mgt promise of "On Top, On Time". They reneged on that promise and dropped the USAir merger bomb on us the 1st qtr of 2000)

OJ's and Q400's are most suredly in your future.
Glad I'm in the twilight yrs of my career, 'cause, it sure has changed.
Won't miss it when I'm gone.

Sorry to hear it UALP. I support you guys with everything. I love flying UA as the pilots, thru everything were always respectful to the UAL flyers especially 1K's. I lost my 1K status a few years back due to the express takeover.

Q400 F seats. Just like what you'd get in a CR7 or ER7

Sure about that? Seatguru says 32" for that seat, vs. 37" on the CR7 or 38" on the E70.

He's talking about the F seats on the re-configured Q400's.

I know - if you check Seatguru, it shows 32" for F on the Q400 - only 1" more than the Y seat. Solo seats are always nice, but the pairs in rows 2/3 arent' much different than Y, IF the measurement is correct.

Remind me again why UA insists on operating props instead of CR/ER7s...

1. Fuel economy
2. The great legacy of the PMCO scope clause which has given UA an industry-worst RJ mix

Seat width looks a little thin.

Circumvention of CAL Scope restricting them to 50 seat JETS.

Seat Guru has it all wrong. I think E+ will have 34" and F should be around 36-37".

The F cabin will be arranged like this:

1A
2A CD
3A CD

Total of 7 F seats, so row 1 on the seat map on UA.com is wrong, and I now believe that is the reason why they blocked off row 1 until someone has the time to design an appropriate seat map.

Can't they just at them as UAx or can they not add any new 70 seat jet capacity post-merger?

Despite 2 1/2 yrs of being "merged" we are hardly merged.
CAL crews fly CAL planes with CAL rules.
UAL crews fly UAL planes with UAL rules.
Ne'er the tween shall meet!

Can't work together til we have an ISL (Integrated Seniority List).
Can't have an ISL until we have a JCBA (Joint Collective Bargaining Agreement).
Mgt doesn't have to give us a pay raise until the JCBA is complete.
Hmmm. Wonder why that's been stalled for 2yrs?

Synergies?
We don't need no stinkin' synergies!

DAL/NW vs UAL/CAL
Wonder which one would be written about more favorably in B school textbooks?

But how does that affect UAx? Couldn't UA add unlimited 70 seat jets if done on the UA CBA side of things? I realize that it's being outsourced to SkyWest, Shuttle America, Go Jet, etc. but is there a way for UA to do it?
