Same here for a flight in August (actually my wife and daughter's). Some time last weekend, I realized that their seats were changed to 7F/8F which is not so good for a 7-year old, so I moved them to 6E/F without paying much attention to the seat map (thinking that it must be another "random seat change"). Only the bulkheads and exit rows are marked as E+.

It looks like the bug was fixed yesterday (Saturday U.S.). The 737-900 seatmaps and my daughter's seat assignments all returned to what they were originally and rows 20 and 21 are back to being the exit.

best E+ seating on 737-900?
Hi,
I pulled up my seat map and I found row 8, 20 and 21 are E+. My flight is a red eye SFO-BOS transcon. I'm heavy build, 5'10''. So which seat might be the best on this plane? I tried google and seatgur but no dice. Thanks!

As seatguru states row 20 has limited recline and row 8 is near the restrooms, neither good for red-eyes.

Any of these will be about the same on the 739 that hasn't been E+ converted yet...keep in mind that all 3 of these rows will have the tray table in the armrest so you won't be able to raise it if the seat next to you ends up being vacant. If you've got a large (wide) build..width is probably more important to you than legroom.. and if the flight isn't packed to the gills you might consider taking a non E+ seat that has an open middle next to it...no guarantee it'll hold up, but an E+ middle is more likely to be taken on the day of the flight than a non-E+ middle.

737-900 Mid Lav Bulkhead Seating
Trying to understand what the legroom restriction is like for row 8 ABC. I assume there is no cutout, but is it like 1CD on the sUA 757, or more like 1AB on the airbus twins? Also, if you are seated in row 7, does the bathroom literally open right next to you? I am currently seated in row 21, but I really prefer bulkheads.
