We’re making some changes to the Million Miler program. Starting May 4, 2020, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be giving bonus miles for each Million Miler level achieved above 1 million miles. As a result, we will be retiring our gift site and ask that if you wish to select a gift you do so by May 31, 2020. If no gift is selected, we will deposit bonus miles into your account to show our appreciation for your continued loyalty.
I just got off the phone with MP. Here is the new program:
1. Gift site will be closed on June 1, 2020
2. Selections need to be made by May 31, 2020
3. Those who achieved MM status before April 2, 2020 can select gift.
4. Those achieving status as of April 3, 2020 must take miles.
5. The new Gift Tiers are:
- 1M LT miles gets (I forgot to ask)
- 2M LT miles gets 35,000 MP miles
- 3M LT miles gets 35,000 MP miles
- 4M LT miles gets 40,000 MP miles
- 5M LT miles gets 50,000 MP miles

I never received anything when I reached 1MM, and I might never reach 2MM (still 110,000 to go) so these changes are fairly meaningless...

I did not receive anything at 1MM, but have received gifts at 2, 3 and 4 MM level.
Then again, as you rightly pointed out, it is meaningless now that the gifts are gone.

UA may have applied some time limit on requesting a gift. Historically, you could request your gift years after achieving the milestone. I just signed in and got the following screen. Not sure if this only applies to physical gifts or if it also applies to new mileage gifts. Probably worth signing into link soon after achieving milestone.

I know this is trivial, but I'm ~45k miles from locking in my 2MM. I didn't receive anything when I hit my 1MM, so I'm hoping for something. I'm not sure I have it in me to make it to 3MM......
