We’re making some changes to the Million Miler program. Starting May 4, 2020, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be giving bonus miles for each Million Miler level achieved above 1 million miles. As a result, we will be retiring our gift site and ask that if you wish to select a gift you do so by May 31, 2020. If no gift is selected, we will deposit bonus miles into your account to show our appreciation for your continued loyalty.
I just got off the phone with MP. Here is the new program:
1. Gift site will be closed on June 1, 2020
2. Selections need to be made by May 31, 2020
3. Those who achieved MM status before April 2, 2020 can select gift.
4. Those achieving status as of April 3, 2020 must take miles.
5. The new Gift Tiers are:
- 1M LT miles gets (I forgot to ask)
- 2M LT miles gets 35,000 MP miles
- 3M LT miles gets 35,000 MP miles
- 4M LT miles gets 40,000 MP miles
- 5M LT miles gets 50,000 MP miles

Finally Received My iPad from Oscar
My gift from Oscar finally arrived last month. You would think they would issue a special 1K card for life time 3 MMers. The card in the block of plastic looks like trash. One would think they would have given it more thought. No extra benefits for life time 3MMer other than the 6 GPUs in January.
All the years of United loyalty from me and my staff going out of our way to stick with United and now this. Probably the Global Service flyers don't get much either for hitting 4MMer.

Do you get 2 RPUs upon hitting 2 MM?
I'm sure this is addressed somewhere above, and I apologize for not finding it if it is.
I'll be hitting 2 MM in a few months. Will I get 2 RPUs at that time (mid-2019) or will I have to wait until 1/20? [I will not otherwise qualify for Platinum].

RPUs && GPUs for eligible Lifetime elites are awarded at the end of the year if you do not otherwise earn that level and certs during the year.

Just notice this thread - thanks for the heads up. Made 2MM a couple of years ago and never received any special notification or missed it in the mail.
I thought I try the link that was posted. Came up as "Offer expired". But there was a link to ask for 30-day extension, starting today. The gift selection came up, and made my selection.
I had always wonder why United never made any special gift or acknowledgement for reaching the 2MM mark.

Yesterday made 2M, SFO-IAD.

Congrats! I received an email with the gift link about a week after hitting 4MM (and the selected gift came a week later!), and the new MP card came yesterday (one month after).

I'll be hitting 2MM later this year or in 23,405 BIS miles (whichever comes first) and until I saw this post, I didn't know of the 'gifts' Thanks for the info

When I hit 2MM, I got an ipod and then at 3MM, it was a Tumi duffel bag. No recognition on the milestone flights but, then again, I didn't tell the FAs so how would they know?
This was old-fashioned BIS miles. I figured it would be like flying from HNL to SFO every month for 52 years.
Won't hit 4MM since I fly Alaska given the erosion of the MP program.
