Each code is for a different region pair.

North America - North America, North America - Europe, etc.

I don't know that there is one.

For awards I believe that the second letter designates the cabin booked, with F, B and C as the options for first, business and coach, respectively.

I believe that the first letter is W for one way and Y for return, but I'm not as certain of that.

NYC-SIN and SIN-SYC both have 72 for the number part (WB72). A wholly domestic itinerary has 20 at the end (YC20N). I'm not sure what the N represents in this case; I did find another one way domestic that was WC20C. A one way domestic wholly within Europe booked as WC52G. A one way US to India was WB68.

An EasyPass coach award US-Europe was ZC52, so I guess Z is the prefix for EasyPass round trips. If I had to bet, X would be one way EasyPass keeping WXYZ in order there.

That's what I found in the past 6 months or so of award receipts I've got. Shouldn't be too hard to compile a list of more folks post 'em, but I don't know that it would ever be complete.

Expanded XN inventory, maybe? Or under 700 miles?

I think that the last letter is the originally booked fare bucket. I did an UG ORD-FRA (to R in Business) and it showed as UP52H. I was booked in H and upgraded to C. The 52 meshes with the code for NA to EUR in previous posts. I assumed the UP was for Upgrade, but that doesn't match other posts in this thread.
