Itin 20% more expensive after 10% E-cert
 
Looking at a TATL for April. Getting $1,169 as a fare, including taxes.
Then I remembered I have an E-cert for 10%, and suddenly, the lowest fare is around $1,400, and the buckets changed from V to U.

Similar experience recently trying to use residual from a cancelled ticket. Could book the flight for about $259 all in, but when I tried to book it using the residual from the existing ticket it became $368. Wouldn't offer me the same flights or fare classes I could get by booking direct.
