United Type-B vouchers after 3/3
Has anyone attempted to use or successfully used UA Type-B paper vouchers post yesterday's merger? I'm wondering how these will work.
I'm assuming the phone agents can still book tickets as normal and we'll have to mail these certs in. I'm sitting on $1,600 worth so inquiring minds want to know.
Thanks,
RM

Mail The Type B Vouchers
Mailing the certs may be easier.
Has anyone tried that since last weekend?

I attempted ticketing at the airport last night and finally got through the process after 20 minutes on hold with the CSR Support/Help Desk. Took her a few minutes to ask someone else there how to do it (I could hear them talking about it). Tidyed up my notes for the next passenger who has one.
The ticket was "issued" but only in the computer. There was a printer problem (unsure if this is systemwide or only at certain stations) and so the ticket receipt and itinerary that printed was without the ticket number.
Just had 016 .....(blank)....... Tried same at various computers but always got the same result. I was off today so won't know until tomorrow (Thursday) what is happening. Hopefully corrected. We are shooting blanks on an open battlefield......not good.

I successfully ticketed a reservation at the airport with paper vouchers this morning, having put it on hold over the phone a few hours prior. The new system can still do it, but most of the agents don't know the procedure (PMUA is using an unfamiliar system and PMCO didn't use paper vouchers), so you can expect to wait a while. Budget an hour at the airport and you'll probably be pleasantly surprised.

From my 11k flown miles on Monday and Tuesday, I waited
A. 30 mins to get meal vouchers
B. 45 mins to get added to the UG list
B2. 60 mins to get added to the UG list (different time) -- but failed.
C. 2 hours to get rebooked due to irrops
D. 30 mins to get checked-in via a transfer desk in LHR

Booking fee with Type-B paper vouchers?
I tried to book a flight using my Type-B paper vouchers today, but the phone agent told me that there will be a $25 booking fee. Is this correct? Also fares seem higher (by $20-40) than what I saw online for the same flights.

AFAIK, there shouldn't be any booking fees when using Type B vouchers.
