Remember Me -- Not

After screwing around with my settings (and even installing Firefox) for about four hours this morning I fianlly got out of the 128 bit error hole by checking TLS 1.0 in IE advanced settings (thanks to whoever suggested this).

Now however, regardless of how many times I check the "Remember Me" option I am am never remembered when I log out and subsequently log back in and have to do the whole MP number id and PIN entries. What is the point of "remember me" if the site cannot remember me? I know that it is a fairly trivial annoyance, but nonetheless a function is is supposed to work. Anyone else with this problem?

I do. I'm sure it will be fixed. It's probably way down the list of priorities.

Sure but this transition was supposed to be totally transparent. Not supposed to have a bunch of items way down then prioity list. Accorcring to UA press releases everything had been tested over and over and all was good to go. I am glad that I am not flying for the next couple of weeks.

It's too bad IE isn't working even with the settings changed. I used Google Chrome and had not problems. I hope they get it fixed soon.

If this is one of the most substantive issues that people are finding, then I would deem it a success. Is it annoying? Sure - but it doesn't affect my ability to use the site. As stated above, this is certainly something that can be fixed in the coming days.

Change your browser from IE. Other browsers automatically remember you, even when you don't ask them to. And they don't have the TLS 1.0 problem either.

For what it's worth I'm using some recent-ish version of Chrome and united.com seems to be having issues remembering me, too.

Not as bad as the old version so far though.

At least it's showing my correct mileage balance now though (phew!)

+1 ^. IE is ancient history.
