New Fare Class Codes

I'm happy that the new web site allows you to see all the fare buckets--no longer any need to fake an award travel reservation to find upgrade space.
But I found a flight with ON2 O0 inventory. What does the 'N' mean?

In fact, I found two flights like that (IAD-FRA on Aug 17) and it would allow the upgrade on one but not the other. Is that a bug?

N is a modified to the normal award buckets (X, I, O) that means its for UA elites only - it's a good thing if the N space is finally greater than the regular X/I/O space (which is available to anyone)

O2 means two F award seats are available

You need R space to upgrade from Y to C (drawing a blank on upgrade bucket from C to F)

Thanks.
I guess we need a new sticky in this forum for fare classes.

Here is a typical list of buckets and inventory I found for a IAD-BRU flight:
F5, FN5, A5, ON4, O1, J9, JN9, C9, D9, Z9, ZN9, P9, PN9, R2, RN2, IN0, I0, Y9, YN9, B9, M9, E9, U9, H9, HN9, Q9, V9, W9, S0, T0, L0, K0, G0, N0, XN0, X0

Actually, I stand corrected on ON space:

Apparently it's like the old NF (so I bet we'll see plenty of it). From what I can tell, doesn't appear then to be any special elite availability code for Global First now.

I see lot of ON (should be R) in my reservations which shows 150% EQM.

Thanks for the link. Let's continue the discussion there.
