This is an archive thread, the active thread is [Consolidated]UA/Partner flights miles not posting?

If a United / United Express flight has not posted within 5 days, you may request missing flight credit
Go to the bottom of the page and sign-in into your account
You will need the e-ticket number.
Requests may be submitted up to 12 months after the date of your flight.

For missing flight partner credit you will need to wait 15 7 days.
For any segment operated by a Star Alliance partner airline, Aer Lingus or Jet Airway, you’ll need to enter additional information along with the ticket number.

For missing non-flight partner credit you will need to wait 8 weeks before requesting missing credit

UA claims I was a "no show" , cancelled rest of itin -- but I did actually fly!!!

There was one instance where they would not credit me the miles unless I sent them a copy of the boarding pass. Luckily I still had it. Since then I save every boarding pass just in case. It sucks, but what can you do when their IT systems don't work correctly.

My only advice is to call back and see what a different MP agent will do for you. It may work and it may not.. I had similar issues with Swiss last year when I misplaced a boarding pass and I eventually got an agent who figured out some way to get me the miles, after the first one told me I was out of luck. Similar to the "hang up call again" method everyone tries with United's customer service.

How long for TK flights to post to UA MP?

Good afternoon

Had a quick look but can't find an answer to this.

Does anybody know how long TK flight miles typically take to post to UA MP? I flew IST-IAD four days ago (and yes, I had an eligible booking class!).

Thanks

Either within two weeks, or within six months with six reminders.

Had a flight IAD-IST-AYT last year and it took exactly 10 days to post.

Flew 2 LX segments on 7/30, still haven't posted

At what point should I be worried and contact UA about the miles posting? I have both boarding passes still.

Mine usually takes 3 days to post. Yours, with the weekend, should post Mon/Tue.

Worst case, wait your 15 days and then call in. My FIL had this happen to him w/LX flights earlier in the year. None of the 4 posted (but 4 on a later trip did).

Wait 15 days. If not posted, then take pictures of the tickets, submit them and request credit through the online form. It's simple and you'll get your miles fast.

Thanks! I guess I'll just wait and hope they post. Glad I saved the stubs though.

Always a good idea to snap pics of partner BPs before you board.

Thumbs down

I am still having lots of problems with THAI............THAI is blaming United and United is blaming THAI.....

Anybody have a suggestions as to how to end this?

Because THAI says they send the miles and United claims THAI is refusing the miles.......and it is a valid booking class only that United claims they are lacking the approval of THAI and THAI says that is not true.....
