5 April 2018 -- UA started posting an "expiration date", appears to be at least 18 months after most recent activity (some are longer for unknown reasons)
also states
Some of your United®TravelBank Cash may expire on a different date than what’s displayed here. Please check your balance details for a complete history of your United®TravelBank Cash transactions and the expiration date for each amount.
Expiration had previously been in the T&Cs for some time (2 years of inactivity? but now is 18 months) and had stated an ETC would be issued if the funds did timeout. Unclear if that still applies.

The Gift Registry has been disabled since Fall 2017 (Sept?) (appears this may be related to a tax issue?)
As of 5 May 2018, it still states
We're sorry, our gift registry page is currently unavailable for maintenance. You can still use the funds from your gift registry to book travel during this time, but you will not be able to receive contributions or update your registry details. We expect the page to be up and running again in early 2018.
Around Sept 2018, wording changed to
We're sorry, our gift registry page is currently unavailable for maintenance. You can still use the funds from your gift registry to book travel during this time, but you will not be able to receive contributions or update your registry details.

Well, I gt a receipt for my $25 renewal - and it said it was a renewal for 12 months ... I'll give it a day or two to see if the expiry date shows up again before figuring out my next step...

It is a year from your last payment date.

Well, I guess I overpaid by a bit -- but writing in about a few stray PNRs that I need credit for will make up fr that in short order.

Thank you, good to know.

Please kindly advise where on united.com do you renew? For the life of me, I cannot find it. Thank you.

Also can start here -- but do not see a simple renew link

You can look in the history to determine when you last renewed.

This page (https://www.united.com/web/en-US/app...b/default.aspx) seems to still exist, if you search for "united.com club" and can start the renewal process. It now shows up as a gift registry contribution instead of a membership fee, but this has been the case for a while.

I'm seeing a 5 year expiration term under the terms and conditions here: https://www.united.com/cms/en-US/pro...tregistry.aspx
Or does that refer to something else?

The Travel Bank has served multiple programs in the past -- one was the Gift Registry, which was halted a few years back and its T&Cs would not necessarily be applicable to funds that were deposited into the Travel Back from a different program.

The TravelBank T&Cs state
  1. TravelBank Cash accrued in a Member's TravelBank account shall be maintained in the account until they are redeemed or until they expire, whichever occurs first.
  2. As a general rule (and unless stated otherwise by United under the terms of a particular offer or the terms of certain qualifying activity as determined by United from time to time) all accrued TravelBank Cash in an Account is subject to expiration and/or forfeiture for any Member who fails at any time to engage in Account Activity (as defined above) for a period of eighteen (18) consecutive months. United may, but shall have no obligation to, send a Member a notification of TravelBank Cash nearing or subject to expiration.

Despite emails to the addresses in wiki plus a call to CS, still no credit for flights taken around New Year (and subsequently). Anyone else getting/not getting credited properly of late? Multi-pax itineraries that were all split because of upgrades, fwiw.

My flight on NYE as well as my 6 flights so far this year have all credited correctly.
