Companian Bags, is it going to take until 3/3?

From UA today:

Dear Mr. Ruler:
Thank you for your follow-up.

The data regarding baggage policy for MileagePlus elite member companions has not yet been released. I'm sorry that I am unable to provide you with this updated information.
Your most current information is located in the Merger Milestones at united.com, which you can find at this address:
http://mileageplusmergerupdates.com/...tones/Timeline

Thank you for your patience with this process and for your loyalty as a MileagePlus member.

Regards,
I've got a trip spanning the changeover, and it would be nice to know if it's cheaper to rent the kids skis or take them...

People purchasing tickets get months of notice when a baggage change happens, loyal customers...

Current policy on CO is all pax on the PNR get the same allowance,

I would imagine either that is kept, or we move to the model mirroring
Economy Plus seating (one companion for 1P, 2P, up to 8 for 0P, 1K, GS)

Yeah, given that there haven't been any reductions anywhere else in the program.

For UA today:
*G gets [email protected]
UA *S & Companion of UA Eliete get 2 @50 (today)
*S gets 1 @ 50

Right now I trust these guys about as far as I can tug a 777.

I don't disagree with you - but they've already downgraded the Silver bag quota, we know that. It would be pretty drastic to not allow non-elite (or lower elite) pax on the same PNR the same benefits as the highest status person.

I AM compiling an official list of things we don't know yet (getting longer by the hour):
