Went from 865,000 to 1,060,000. 98% UA and 2% LH/SQ. I signed up for every promo in the past 11 years.

Good timing as I gave up on UA this year and will never try to make 1K again - been 1K seven years. Now having lifetime Gold is good enough.

I was approx 4,000 miles away from 1MM (at 995,687), and pretty excited that I'd be crossing the threshold in January on a flight to the big Easy (MSY). I logged on today and saw myself at 1,267,319 Lifetime flight miles. I don't want to look a gifthorse in the mouth but was really looking forward to having some champagne as I crossed the 1MM mark. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait until 2MM.. Funny the things we complain about when given a bonus.

Went from 243K to 480K, almost a 100% increase. I was expecting something in the 420K range, so slightly more than expected.

If by "I would have crossed 2M next week the old fashion way" you mean you're within a few thousand miles of 2MM without the added miles they just gave you, there are some postings to the effect that you may be able to get the "old" 2MM benefits if you write to United. Check here. The main benefit, of course, is lifetime lounge access to the United Club.

Pre 770k, Post 951k

Prior to Dec 31st, 770k
After Jan 1st, 951k

If I had known, I would've added couple of flights to push over the barrier. All in past 6 years

I was at 788,000 before the adjustment, and under my own calculation with EQM bonuses *A miles, etc., I would have been at 934,000. My new number per the website is 941,000! MM this year!

Went from about 850k to 1.2 mil. Will miss the SWUs. My email complaining about the change was answered with a relatively canned response.

Went from 380K to 993K. What a disappointment! Just 7K short from 1MM! And now I have to earn it only on UA metal :-).

I went from 488K to 675K, add the CO portion of 303K and I'm now at 978K. I'm slated for a EWR-IAH-GIG RT in Feb and a EWR-IAH-LHR-IAH-EWR in Jan. That should be plenty enough to take care of the remaining 22K

WOW! ^^^

Do you have any CO lifetime miles? Those have not been added in yet.

Nice bump

I think I went from about 1.3M to 1.5M. I have no idea how they calculated this and don't really care. With my CO miles I should have way over 2M not that it matters as CO has been kind enough to give me lifetime 1K anyway. What a bunch of good guys these fellows are!

I went from 550K to 965K. Add in 33K from OP lifetime and a New Year's Day trip that took me SLC-IAH-DCA, and I guess I'm now a MM, though I guess it will be awhile until it's official.....
