Status matching for linked accounts?

Status matching for linked accounts?
Hi,
I have been in UA MP for several years, and I just created a CO account to do EQM maximizer.
While I was linking the account, I read the following information.
Does this mean that I get Gold Status with CO for 2011 since I am Premier Executive member with UA?
If so, the only remorse that I have is crediting 6 US flights each of which was about 250 mi long. By crediting into UA account (no minimum miles for US) instead of CO account (500 minimum miles for US), I missed out 1500 mi in total. Since I am 6000 mi short of reaching 50000 mi for next year, 1500 mi means a lot to me.

Plus, if you have a higher Elite status in one program, we'll match that status in the other program through the remainder of 2011.
