The Best United Lounge?

I know United Lounges are nothing to write home about, but which United Lounge would you say is the nicest in the world?

I really like HKG as well. I also like PDX and CO's DFW. The staff was friendly there. These were much much nicer than the cattle farm feeling of EWR's United Clubs.

SFO IFL

I'm quite partial to the new ORD B18 lounge too, nice Euro feeling

Not including the PHL Envoy lounge, there's another sweet PHL US Airways Club that was very nice & open

IAH E is nice for PC. LAS too.

FYI, beginning in Nov, US will be doing away with Envoy Lounge. It will become a regular US Club. That's pretty sad considering it was at least a cut above all other US-based domestic lounges.

So Envoy was like a FCL?

From what I read/heard (hadn't been) - it was like a UA IFL...not quite a LH FCL

Surprised that they're ditching it just as they start to roll out a world class int'l C hard product - but their ticker is LCC for a reason.

Hong Kong is the pits. Of course I'm spoiled. I expected it would be like the old NW lounge in Narita.

It's open so there's really no a/c. The food sucks big time.

I can't believe it's an Asian lounge. The food is awful. Really, hot dogs? Hot dogs half the length of the buns?

I was not impressed.

The old CO lounges out shine any of the US lounges. I am really not impressed with any of the UA lounges (nor with UA in general). They tend to be unimpressive with respect to food. The chairs are uncomfortable. They do have clean restrooms.

I bought a lifetime CO Pres Club membership which I now view as a total waste of $$$.

LAX
Wow that is too bad. I used the Envoy lounge for the first time back in August and I was very impressed. Good selection of food, nice wines and just a really great space.
