I keep getting an error message on the UAL website when I try to open the Redemption Code... says to try back later. I was able to apply for the code and received the confirmation email... but just can't "view it" online. Anyone else have this problem and able to remedy? I emailed the 1K desk... haven't heard back yet.

Just used the code for Mrs. B, worked like a charm. Nice to have a 1K perk that actually has some value. It did take 2 tries to get the code.

I received an error earlier in the day, but after I received the email, it worked for me.

I also had no problems submitting it to GOES and my application is pending review at the moment. Hopefully it'll go through fairly quickly since I'm already PreCheck approved.

I highly doubt that PreCheck participation through an airline has any bearing on the GE review process.

Received a quick response to my email to 1K Voie and Global Entry United... Emailed me a screen shot of the credit card... And GOES took it instantly.

Unfortunately, the assumption is not correct.
From Global Entry Compensation page:
The personalized code is single-use only, redeemable only on the GOES website, and will be valid for six months after the eligible applicant registers to receive it.

Just registered for my Global Entry interview. Going to try to take care of it at the airside enrollment center at IAH during a connection there in late April.

Lots of appointment availability at that office. Also for those in the WAS area - there's now an enrollment center at BWI (think that's new). Seemed to have lots of open windows in late April.

I did that a couple weeks ago, hit it just right, was in and out in 15 minutes. If you don't know where it is, it's not on the map, but is between the United Club and Ruby's (I think that's the name) which are both on the map.

I got delayed out of IAH for 3 hours yesterday so I decided to head over to the Global Entry office next to Ruby's to see if they had any cancellations. The gentlemen there was extremely nice and fit me in and got me processed/approved within 15 minutes! I'm psyched because I have an upcoming trip to Toronto which I'll be able to use it now! ^

Not sure if Toronto meets the "domestic" requirement.

GE has no domestic requirement. You are thinking of PreCheck.

This may have already been answered, but I didn't have time to go back and read all 50+ pages. I already have GE, but can I apply the credit to getting GE for a family member?

Covered in the T&Cs of the program
one of which states
The personalized code is the property of United Airlines. It may not be used for any purpose other than for a new application, by the original recipient, for the Global Entry program.
