Aegean Airlines Mileage Credit

I flew on Aegean a few weeks ago in P class, which apparently does not get credit in MP, even though I gave them my MP number on check in. Is it possible to claim this flight in OP, since P class does qualify for 100% EQM in OP?
Also, will those EQM balances in OP and MP be combined at the end of this year? Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. Can one transfer EQMs between programs at this point, or is it just the RDM that can be transferred?
Thanks.

Yes, just mail it in.

You can link your status earning similar to linking your RDMs and they'll count in aggregate. They won't transfer between the programs, per se, but in the background they'll be added together and you'll have the status based on the combined number.

Aegean Mileage Credit - What are the Odds?

Having done a series of flights in August with Aegean we discovered it's probably the most disorganized partner in the Alliance.

We've submitted to UA twice (online and via paper) the proof of our Aegean flights but have not received any flight credit.

Anyone have any experience trying to get retroactive credit from Aegean or if this is just a lost cause on our part?

Flew on Aegean just two weeks ago and had my credit within the week. Swiss air is the one I am having some trouble with. I was very surprised how fast the Aegean flight credited.

My 1K husband flew on Aegean in July. His premier qualifying miles posted correctly but his redeemable miles did not. He received miles for the distance flown but not the 100% premier bonus miles he receives on UA, LH and SQ. I called UA once, told me they would get it fixed. I called a second time, same story.

I just called for a third time and the agent I spoke to told me that "1K members don't accrue bonus premier miles on Aegean. It doesn't participate in that benefit."

Does this sound correct to others? Thank you.

Per the UA website:

"Premier bonus award miles are also available on select MileagePlus partner carriers, including Air Canada, ANA, Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian, Brussels and US Airways. Learn more about earning miles on partner carriers."

While not explicitly excluded, A3 isn't on the above list, so it appears that the agent is correct. Live and learn--no more A3 when LH is an option.

I had a flight on Aegean on Sept. 3rd, LIS-ATH. Originally it was a "Comfort Flex" fare and then I bid on and won an upgrade to Business. The Aegean phone age sand that the Comfort Flex fare I originally booked was a Q class and that the upgrade to business that I won was a I class.

I tried entering both of the fare classes and UA's website is stating, "The fare class for this ticket is not eligible for MileagePlus mileage credit or Premier qualifying credit."

This is a common issue partner carriers have had with cash upgrades. You need to call MPSC. LH had this issue for some time until they changed how they reported to UA the original purchased fare.

I have been on the phone with the MPSC for 30 minutes now and the agent is clueless. He didn't even know who Aegean was!

Flew A3 (ATH-CHQ-ATH) in April and it credited within a week, both directions. Flew them again 4 & 3 weeks ago (ATH-JMK-ATH) and nothing posted. Submitted the online and still waiting. And I need 11 PQPs to push me over the next 20 plus point hurdle...so come on Aegean, just give me 11 PQPs on a $400 ticket.

Using the United online chat is the best way to get stuff credited if it does not credit automatically imo.

Best to bail from that rep in the first 5 minutes. Too many new folks, better to try for an experience person. Not your role to train agents.

Were you able to get this credited? I'm in a similar situation, MP phone agent claimed they had submitted it for processing (using my originally purchased fare class, after I supplied that e-ticket receipt) but that's been nearly 3 weeks ago. Sent a follow-up email to mileageplus@ about it but no reply.

Thanks,
