SYD is unfortunately now a less than desirable location for 1Ks due to the massive cheapest-to-W-spread, on top of the overall 1K devaluation

So still good, if you can clear them right away, but that is hard to see now
I was lucky to get 6 SWU for three pax on both ways to clear at booking.in W.
I was all ready thinking of giving them away to charity

Anyone have their SWU's extended automatically? I just checked my account and my wifes account and my SWU's are now showing an expiration of 12/31/2012. They originally had an expiration of 11/30/2012.

Just my observation, but, what are your chances of an upgrade with GPU cert when everyone and their brother is trying to use up their veers in the last two months of the year?
It seems a little like it is in the airlines best intrest to extend them so that flyers will hold them all until the end of the year and not be able to use them as opposed to gifting them away earlier in the year to other flyers who may actually be able to make use of them.

It just keeps getting worse and worse with these jokers.
I had GPUs expiring 1/31 and 12/31. For a recent trip, they pulled the GPU expiring 1/31 and left the GPUs expiring 12/31. So, not only are they applying them sooner so they expire sooner, but they're consuming the ones that expire latest and leaving the ones that expire soonest.
Is there any limit to the number of ways they can find to show their hostility and contempt for us?

Well we are over entitled so what do you expect. I thought they were supposed to take them first expiring first, not last in first out. Geeez

Data points for TODS in EWR-Europe flights.
I have generally found these to be at least $500...and that is when I was on a ~$2000 fare (not YBM, but close; sorry I don't remember precise class).
When I have been on some much cheaper flights it has been at least $700.
