I am 125 points shy of re-qualifying for Platinum for 2023 and my flying is done for the year. I have almost 4,000 flex PQP and want to transfer 125 to re-qualify for next year. I have tried to do this through both the website and the app and receive the same sort of generic message that something isn't right and to try back later. After doing this a couple of times over a couple of days I gave up and had a message session with Mileage Plus. The agent was happy to move the points but when she tried she couldn't do it either. After checking she said that the points couldn't be moved because I am already Platinum and that the points would have to be moved after January 1. Is that really the case, or is there some bug in their system? At that point, 2022 is done with and the clock starts again. How can the points that are to be moved in 2023 count toward 2022 status?
Have others run into this scenario and if so will I actually qualify for Platinum if I follow what they said to do and move the points after January 1?

I'm trying to transfer FPQP. I can see how many I have available and I cannot find the link to where I am able to do the transfer. I'm silver and I'm trying to get it done for next year. I've used both Firefox and Edge. The link is nowhere to be found, either in MyUnited or when I click on the link for status tracker.

Mystery solved. 500 PQP's showed up in my account the other day. They were all applied to 2022 status qualification. Obviously, the system knew the points were coming (or were there but not showing yet) and did not let me apply the other points. Too bad that they could not just apply the 125 I needed for Platinum rather than all 500, but that's a small matter.

Planning on canceling my PresPlus in the next few weeks. Will my Flex PQPs disappear? Or do I get to keep them after account closing? Have a small amount that won't expire that I may want to apply to a future year, but would rather go ahead apply them this year if they're going to be confiscated anyway. Anyone know?

March 31, 2023 is the final date to use any Expiring FPQPs. These were earned in 2019 only and they will simply disappear if you don't use them by the end of March.
Everyone should use them before that date. If you wish to use them towards 2024, use them after the new year begins. If you wish to use them for 2023 you can transfer them now OR after the new year begins.
They are not good to 1K, but I don't see getting there for 2024 with the new old qualification levels. Having these FPQPs will make it fairly straightforward to get to Platinum.

The Flex PQP ? transfer portal on the My United page only keeps a record of FPQPs that have not transferred yet. Any that you currently have were earned in 2019 and must be used by March 31 or were earned before 2012 and don't expire.

I realize this glitch has been mentioned upthread, but I'm happy to see that UA believes I'll still be alive 42 years from now and will earn a grand total of 233 Flex PQP that year from a PP card I regretfully canceled some years ago. I suspect my MP membership won't be the only thing expired by that point. Not saying my age, but I'm hitting my 40-year MP anniversary this summer.
