I stopped by the United Club on a recent flight out of SEA and asked if I could use one of my two free passes, showing the MileagePlus Explorer Visa. They told me I would get paper passes in the mail and needed to use those. Well it's been about 3 months since I got this card and no passes in the mail, so I finally got around to calling the 888 number on the back. The woman there told me they come "in an email" and came in an email dated 11/30/2011 for me. I went back and looked and while I have lots of MileagePlus email (including one from 11/30/2011), none have any mention of the Club passes. Before I call back again (geez), has anyone with this MileagePlus Explorer card actually gotten paper United Club passes in the mail?

Husband has the 50,000 + 10,000 offer good until 2/29, but the sign-up link on the offer card does not work. Does anyone have a good link for that offer? TIA

You need to make the request within 60 days (I think) of opening the account.
I did this and they added the 20k additional miles to my account after about 10 days from the request.
Should work as long as the 60k offer is still being advertised when you sign up and/or when you make the request.

Does this benefit start on 3/3? And can you explain how it works?
I see nothing on the card's website that gives any details...

Will I be automatically waitlisted for UDU just like a normal ticket, or do I need to call/go online to request it?
And is this indeed a published benefit of the card? I see nothing on the website to confirm that.

Ok, but can UA tell that I'm a cardholder just by MP number?

Regarding whether this is an automatic benefit, it has been mentioned a bunch of times that it will automatically recognize you're a card-holder and you'll be placed on the list automatically. To be sure, it doesn't hurt to call ahead the first time, and ask if you're on the list, and if not, to be placed on the list.

This is a published benefit, as evidenced by UA Insider, and is on the new pss site: Complimentary Premier Upgrades.
