Visit USA (VUSA) fares available? Online info?

I'm looking to make a trip to the USA, hitting multiple destinations. I'd like to find out if United or Continental has VUSA fares (or the like?) I've searched the web site and the forum here but haven't found anything.

Anybody know if these fares are mileage earning? I'm a Star Gold and would like to be loyal to the alliance if they don't play games with the mileage!

Thanks!

Something like this?

http://www.staralliance.com/en/fares...erica-airpass/

Make sure to double check the pricing, it's usually less expensive to just book the tickets than it is to do the coupon thing.

As to miles

All flights of the Star Alliance North America Airpass will accrue miles to the passenger’s Star Alliance Frequent Flyer Programme depending on the rules of your chosen Frequent Flyer Programme.

A better option, though out of the alliance, is JetBlue's All You Can Jet. I don't think it's offered right now, but when it was, it was perfect for what the OP is looking for.

The Star Alliance offers are not great within the US, if you ask me.

Yes, thanks for the link. Though it doesn't give prices, and the route calculator seems to not be working, the rules look good, and it is more convenient being a Star product, rather than just being limited to one of the individual carriers. I'll have to find out more about this.

As for the Jet Blue option, a couple of problems I see on that is:

1) One of my destinations is MSP; I don't believe they fly there, do they? If they are serving MSP now, it still wouldn't be too good, as my International arrivel is at LAX. Thus I'd have to fly a circuitous routing of LAX>JFK>MSP.

2) The Star North America Airpass links it's baggage allowances to your International flights. (Hey, isn't that smart!) As a *Gold with international legs in Business Class, I'll have an allowance of up to 3 pieces @ 70 pounds each. I would get that anyway as a Star Gold on CO and UA, but US normally has 50 pound limits, and this pass allows me to get 70 pounds on US also. Though I arrive with largely empty suitcases, I usually stock up when I head back out of the USA. The higher baggage limits help!
