UA Tracel eCerts are now accepted for travel on CO flights (that shows-up on UA.COM when searching). They prices out same as UA flights. Taxes are additional.

They're close, though. It has it available for selection online but it bombs out when you try to purchase.

Such a tease.

Then again, it is bombing out when I just try to choose UA metal so maybe it is me.

Type A or B?

There's a roundabout way with type B vouchers. Just buy a refundable UA itinerary, then once ticketed, change it to include CO flights.

On some flights...

I have been able to use on some flights on CO but not on all.

I am wondering if this change is gradual.

When I called last week to inquire about using type B certs on CO metal (UA codeshares), they said not yet but it is being worked on and should happen in the next few months.

when on .bomb last night and I put in a ecert # , some CO flights that were UA codeshared were available with the ecert deduction, while other CO flights were displayed w/o the discount being applied and they appeared as reg CO flights and not UA code-share and at the full fare pricing
