Considering an Adrian flight for next summer. I've seen it written online that they operate a weekly LJU-Santorini(JTR) flight that would be cool to fly on. Very unique line, that's for sure. It's considered a charter though, I wonder how that would effect mileage redemption ability.
We would then have to get from JTR-HKT for some more beach action, but I don't see any east-bound flights on *A. I wonder if I could fly Aegean back to Athens and then onn to HKT somehow. |

Yes, it is a Schengen connection. I'm not worried about it at all. MUC is an incredibly easy airport to connect at.

Just had a business trip booked for me to the greater Green Bay area and I asked the person buying my ticket if I could fly into ATW and out of GRB. They said sure but where curious why, and I said I wanted two new lines on my flight memory map.
I think I'm fully addicted now! Also ecstatic about my turkey trip. Flying three intra-Turkey flights. IST-ADB and ASR-IST on TK and ADB-ASR on Pegasus (which should be terrible). http://www.gcmap.com/map?P=ist-adb,a...c7%2b%25t&PW=3 |
And here is the whole trip, all in whY! (I'm young and 5'10". I can take it :)
All US flights are CO/UA metal. Trans-atlantic are TK. UA hadn't matched until after I booked, otherwise I would have gotten my elite bonus on LH metal :/ This will be my first trans-con (LAX-JFK) and my first red-eye (LAX-IAH) 12:30am departure. Yippee! http://www.gcmap.com/map?P=iah-lax,l...c7%2b%25t&PW=1 Total cost for all of the airfare is just under $1k. That is thanks to TK's LAX-IST deal for low $500s AI from earlier this year. Total *A miles is 18,075 |
The other super exciting thing, is that the TK flights within Turkey are going to push me over the top for Gold this year!!!!
Those extra 600ish miles are going to push me to 50,100. I went from faux-silver due to DEQMS, to real silver and now to gold! |

Looks like a fun trip. I loved Turkey. We flew IST-NAV and ASR-IST (bus between them) to visit the central part of the country and had a great time. |

Having said that, I had a 30 mins late departure out of TXL, and then arrive to a bus gate, so it can be tight even if MUC is not at fault. Plus, don't you want to enjoy the Sen lounge? |

Lounges generally suck compared to actually being in a city and visiting a destination. |

Just drove IAH-MFE-IAH for business. 7 hour drive there and 7 hours back.
Yeah, I'll be flying next time, although it's a C:olgan operated flight. It's like $140 for a same day turn and I don't have to spend the night. The last 3 hours of the drive is BRUTAL. |

Well, I would say 'lingering' (barely) -- given that this thread still gets random poasts!

So life goes on, albeit. Changing subject, it's amazing how perceptions are formed. When I think "United," I visualize gray. When I think "Continental," I visualize light. Others, probably, still visualize tulips and beach balls. |
