Is N225UA still "Spirit of United"? It was repainted into the $mi$ek livery recently. That plane was dedicated to UA employees after 9/11.

That's my understanding.
From wht I understand the 4 76H (the high density 764s) will remain in the 20/236 configuration and strictly fly mainland-HNL routes and the 12 European configured aircraft will be getting new seats etc and flying all other routes. But I'm still confused as why CO decided to pull of the 76H from the GUM services and replace it with a domestic UA 777. I seriously hope whoever thought of this idea rethinks it bcuz right now there's not alot of happy GUM based crew right now who aren't to thrilled come the end of Oct they loose their widebody flying.

I have a feeling that's the least of their concern.

The wiki shows A320 having fleet numbers of "45XX, 46XX, 47XX, 48XX, and 49XX". The Continental PDA site showed me a fleet number of 42xx. sorry if I missed it (search didn't uncover it), but what config is 42xx?

I don't pay too much attention to fleet numbers, but it's probably the code for a repainted plane.

42xx is a converted TED (non-overwater). I've updated the Wiki to include 42xx.

Appears that the CO fleet is being drawn down slowly... another 735 ferried out of the fleet, N14639.

N834UA appears to be parked right now as well - trying to determine why.

Perhaps a trip to the paint shop? This bird was delivered in 2001, so I would hope they aren't sending it out to pasture..

ACARS indicates it was flying as of Monday. So lets hope its just paint, maybe a heavy check.

FWIW, its not one of the "encumbered" airframes. (I was wondering if it was maybe not going to have a lease renewed like a few of the 752's a few years back....

BTW, OT but: remember UA had a PS 752 they couldn't work out extending the lease.... was that ever settled?)

It was sold:

Not sure who bought it... assume they are leasing it back to UA since the plane is still flying.

Indeed, scheduled PEK-IAD as UA898. Not sure yet which one is going in to replace it.

Per http://www.prnewswire.com/news-relea...medium=twitter
UACO just ordered 14 767-300ER winglets...conveniently enough, PMUA has 14 domestic configured 767s.
