Mine start at 12K bonus miles for a $10K spend both booked and flown before 11/30. I'll probably hit that, but not much above it. Analyst on my team here who is fresh out of college got a lowest spend threshold of $500 for 3K bonus miles. Seems to me like they're just trying to keep business they might be worried they would lose otherwise. Further inflation of award miles.

Mine are the same as the OP except the spend threshold is higher! $2k, $2.5k, and $4k!

I and my plus 1 were eligible once I entered our MP numbers.

However, I didn't get the E+ or MP upgrade note - I imagine that aspect is pertinent to you. I think you might want to note the terms of the MP upgrade you got in that thread - it shows that the MP upgrade is only for the 2016 MP year, instead of earned MP, which is for all of 2016 and 2017.

I got $1,000 => 10k; $1,500 => 15k; $3,000 => 25k.

Perhaps the bonus thresholds require a lot less spending where there is no PQD requirement?

First two are probably possible for me, third is a bit of a stretch, especially by November 30.

Not clear on what this means. Inflation is when the same thing (say a oneway award to North Asia) costs more tomorrow than it did today. The actual redemption chart remains unchanged with this promotion. Are you saying this will have an effect on award availability such that you're forced to buy standard awards? I suppose that could happen, but it seems minor to me.

Got this "targeted" promo this morning. From the T&C, it seems like this is part of the same "status upgrade" promo. Will be re-qualified for 1K next year after summer, I sure won't fall for UA's trap.

Here's my personalized bonus offer:

I fly every single week for work (ORD-IAD). So far this year, I've bought flights through the end of June, and my spend is somewhere around $8,000. Doesn't look like I'll even make the first milestone. Oh well. I'll register for it anyway and see what happens.

I got the same as this. No way I am going to spend any more on United than I need to hit 1K. Not after what they did in giving away 1K to every Tom, Dick and Harry.

As a datapoint, my PQD last year was around $6500, but I haven't flown this year at all.

In total, this isn't a bad deal for me, 53k miles for $3k in spend is nearly a round-trip in X back to the US from Europe.
