'Airline' Bus OXF - T5

I have my LHR - JNB flight today, and was pondering whether to take the 'Airline' Bus (Oxford to LHR T5). I understand it drops off at the Arrivals Stand 10.

Is it a pain for a lone traveller to get from the bus stop (stand 10) to the BA First Check In area? (Have one check-in case, and 1 cabin + rucksack). i.e. are trolleys readily available etc? Otherwise, I will get someone to drop me off! Ta.

My expereince is arriving at T5 is on National Express but they all arrive / depart from the same general area.

I've found trolleys to be generally available - either a few already left or a departing passenger has one ready to hand off at the bus stand - but TBH the distance from the bus stand to the terminal is a very short walk (where more will be available)
Ldnn1 and HGOLI like this.

Depends what you classify as a "pain". You drag your stuff into the building and then take the lift up.... I think you do have to walk the length of the terminal but you can do that indoors.

When the Airline bus drops you at T5, keep walking along in the direction it is facing for 2 lift blocks, then go up. When you enter the terminal you'll be very close to the first wing

There's normally some trolleys nearby, as people will use them to get themselves to the stop to head to Oxford

I once took the Airline bus with 3 suitcases and a rucksack, it wasn't great but was possible... With 2 suitcases and a rucksack you'll be fine! My personal best with checks bags is 6 minutes from stepping off the coach to sipping a glass of champagne in the 1st wing, but that's with some brisk walking. 10 is pretty normal. It's a great way to go!
