No fly over Windsor Castle

From various outlets today e.g.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan...shire-59927668

Reporting that a "no-fly zone" of radius 1.5mi and height 2500 ft is to be put in place around Windsor Castle.

Assume this is counter the threat of drones ?

On Christmas day there was a guy arrested on the property who was trespassing, had a crossbow with him. At the time I think he was held under some mental health act.

That may have had something to do with it.

The jargon is that he was "sectioned". Whilst this sounds like the return of quartering it actually means involuntarily confined to a secure institution under section X of the Mental Health Act. Section 2, for example, is good for up to 28 days.

Joking aside, I imagine being impervious to cross bow bolts was part of the original design spec for the castle !!
