I do not dismiss the cause.
I wonder where these folk get their money from?

@irmater Sadly we don’t use water cannon and cudgels. “Freedom of Speech” has gone too far in this case.

Flying from T3 tomorrow, if the tunnels get blocked will all the flights be cancelled, are there any alternatives to get to the terminal?

T3 access is above ground, surely? I’m sure it was when we went through in Feb!

London underground? Heathrow express? TfL Rail presumably?

Take the tube, HEX etc.

The issue will be airport workers getting in. Their car parks generally require them to use a bus through the tunnels.

I am flying out of T5 tomorrow, and keeping my fingers crossed.

Why disrupt the travelling public in the middle of London, who have very little to do with the issue at hand.

Will be keeping a very close eye on this, we’re due to fly out of T3 on Saturday for a much needed holiday, heading off tomorrow for an overnight stay so will possibly get the opportunity to see what’s what.

They get a good talking to and that's about it. If they were made to pay the true financial cost of their actions, they wouldn't cause trouble in the first place.

If a few of these loons got sentences of double-digit years in prison I suspect things would move more smoothly from there onwards.

While I can understand their action and it's a more appropriate target to blockade an airport than trains in London, there's an easy solution - if they disrupt flights and other people's travel plans they are then banned from flying from any UK airport for 10 years whether for work or leisure, won't be a problem for any climate change protester apart from the hypocrites.

Not today they weren’t. A bunch of them
were refused bail today and remanded until 14 May. Their lawyer said that it was disproportionate, which I thought was a bit rich considering that his clients have been screwing up London for a week and plan to continue doing so.
