Morning in Dublin and Train Questions
Hi helpful flyertalkers!
We're arriving in Dublin in a few weeks early in the morning and then traveling on to Cork.
We'd love to go to the Guinness Storehouse, which I see opens at 9am.
A few questions though.
If we got to the Storehouse at around 9am, what time train would you recommend getting to Cork?
Also, what should we do about luggage? We'll each have one large suitcase + hand luggage. Is there even enough room on the train for all this luggage?
Thanks, TD.

Some DUB locals may be able to be more specific, but I’d allow a couple of hours for Guiness if you’re planning on drinking your included pint. Luckily it’s not far from Heuston Station where you can get the trainto Cork. You’ll find space on the train for luggage - there may be left luggage at Heuston but I don’t know.

In that case, aim for a train at approx noon.
No left luggage at Heuston Station ... you could use this service, which is a couple of mins walk away.

Thanks for the replies. The BagBnB opens too late, but the other opens early enough. 5 Euros per bag does seem a little steep though. Might be the only choice though. So lets say, centre by 9, Guinness by 9.30, out by 11.30, lunch for 30 mins and train at 1. Does than seem comfortable considering we may need to drop-off and collect bags?
