LHR T3 Hotel Options

In a few months time I have a T3-T3 overnight transit at Heathrow and find myself in two minds about where to stay. I donít think I can be bothered with the Bath Road, so I guess options are Sofitel T5, Hilton T4, the new Crowne Plaza T4 or Hilton Garden Inn at Hatton Cross - essentially any that you get to via HEX, Connect and/or Tube

Am I missing any obvious options? I donít think the Aerotel has an opening date, otherwise that would be ideal.

Hi,

The Sofitel is likely to be the most expensive ( you may be able to get it on Last Minute.com as it is the only 5* Heathrow hotel) but is very handy for T5

The HGI at hatton cross is about a 5-10 minute wak from the tube station ( if you have luggage it might be a hassle) and was reasonable ( the breakfast buffet was good)

The Hilton at T4 is pretty good with the covered walkway so you can take the baggage trolley to the front door.

If you were willing to use the HEX or Connect you could consider the Hilton Paddington as it is above the station.

Regards

And there's always the Yotel in T4 but for overnight stays, a regular hotel may be just as cheap (as well as nicer).

There is also a Premier Inn at T4, adjacent to the Hilton. I've stayed there a couple of times and it does the job perfectly well.

Thanks all for that - I forgot about the Premier Inn and the Yotel actually, I will throw them into the mix.

And good reminder re the Sofitel on lastminute, thanks @the_Banking_Scot

At T4 there is the Holiday Inn Express in the same building as the Crowne Plaza. I stayed there last week and was impressed. A review of both are available here:
