Advanced Train Ticket to Manchester

i am looking to purchase an advanced ticket to Manchester from London. Will be arriving in LHR via TG910 in business class, thus i believe i should have access to fast track immigration upon arrival?
Factoring flight and immigration delay potential, would buying a 10am train ticket be good enough or should i get the 11am ticket just to be on the safe side?

it would help if you said what time your flight arrived and on what day of the week,

Are you likely to return from Manchester to London by train? If so, when would that be? This could be one of those rare cases where you might get some decent value flexibility (and there are 3 trains an hour between the two cities).

Yes I would be returning from Manchester to London on Sunday probably around 7-8pm.

An off-peak return is £87.90, and valid on all trains at weekends.
A first-class upgrade is £20 each way.
After a long flight, do you really want to be hanging around Euston for e.g., an hour to save at most a few pounds?

Eek! When did that happen? I was most upset when it went from £10 to £15!
