French non-biometric passport [entry into UK]

Is a French non-biometric passport, issued in 2008, still valid for entry into the U. K.?

stevo12345, welcome to FT.

As an EU citizen you are entitled to enter the UK, so your passport type doesn’t affect that. However, you will not be able to use the e-gates if they’re installed at your point of entry, so you’d have to queue in the manual processing line.
