I really don't find eating Sunday Roasts in Fine Dining restaurants and atmospheres enjoyable, so with that in mind, here are my favourites in London at the moment.

Hawksmoor, Seven Dials
The Grapes, Limehouse
Marguis of Cornwalls, Central
Mews of Mayfair
The Holly Bush, Hampstead
Lamberts, Balham
The Ship, Wandsworth

Any other suggestions for a truly memorable Sunday Roast?
Love The Grapes and the awesome terrace they have onto the Thames. Friend of mine ran into Sir Ian there who owns it.
Cheers
Howie

How does the Plum and Spilt Milk stand up to the Hawksmoor, Seven Dials?

The Grazing Goat is very close to my hotel and that might be a good choice after my 10 hour flight. Thoughts?

I've have eaten there several times and it's OK. But if I wanted a better meal in roughly the same price range, I'd walk two blocks more and eat at the Portman. Upstairs at the Portman is a very elegant dining room with the same menu as downstairs but it has a nice upscale restaurant feel.

Was a delicious meal at the Plum & SP. Didn't even require a knife to cut the beef, though not inexpensive (and it was UK's Mother's Day with a set Roast dinner).

The concierge at the Marriott Park Lane has recommended either the Grazing Goat or Hawksmoor at Air Street for Sunday Roast (this sunday). Others on this thread have also suggested The Portman near by.

Any comments or which of these might be superior?

Given the Easter Holiday, is there anything special/different about Sunday roast/Sunday Dinner on Easter?

I don’t know how this measures up with other people’s favorites, but we thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday Roast at Blacklock in Soho. The prices seemed very reasonable to me as well.

Menu as of September 2018

The “All-In” for two (with a side of cheesy cauliflower).

We were in London a couple weeks ago and had Sunday Roast at Marksman pub in Shoreditch. We were very happy with it.
