Dover sole

First time in London in November. Where can I get the best Dover sole in London - price no object.
For a bonus question -- what about the best sweetbreads?
Thanks for the help.

Scotts for the Dover Sole would be a good place

Or the Oyster Bar at Bentley's.

or J Sheekey for the sole.

For sweetbreads, check the menu at St John to see if they are serving.

Wilton's on Jeremyn Street.

Bentley's and Scott's may well offer a good Dover sole, but you'll pay dearly for it. Try something a bit different, where you can get good fish cooked properly and have the option to eat a proper pudding (with custard) after your meal. Consider Sweeting's, on Queen Victoria Street in the City. A different kettle of you know what from a West End resto, but worth the trip on the number 11 or 15 bus.

Thanks for all the information. Sounds like we might do one "traditional" splurge and then try the other kettle also.
