How much time to allow for FC Check-in?

Hi all,

We're flying first class on TWA in two weeks. It's a 6am departure, so naturally I'm wondering just how far in advance we **really** have to be at the counter.

They're saying "2 hours," but the prospect of a 2:30am get-up for a 4am check-in just doesn't excite me.

Any advice?? We're leaving from PDX - Portland, Oregon.

Thx.

My boss returned from SEA last Friday, checking in at the 1st class counter there. No line whatsoever. I would budget around 1 hour. I believe flight loads are way off, the airlines are hurting and will not put up with much more in the way of delaying passengers.

Enjoy your Latinpass award tickets. Where are you going? Don't forget to use the Ambassador Club at the base of the C concourse.

Going to Orlando. We don't spend much time transiting STL (hopefully), but I'll remember the tip on the Club if we get delayed.

Ah, domestic. I had figured you were going international which would allow you to use the Ambassador Club. Unfortunately domestic 1st won't get you in. With the short connect time you may have a bit of a hike between planes depending on where you come in to STL, either the C or D concourse.

It appears your flight leaves PDX at 615am, I would get to the airport by 515. You arrive STL at 1206 and connect to the MCO flight leaving at 135pm. That is plenty of connect time. The MCO flights are always crowded, but maybe in these new times it won't be so. Please let us know what you find.
