American Airlines and TWA Begin to Combine Facilities

American Airlines and TWA Begin to Combine Facilities

ST. LOUIS, July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- TWA's integration into American Airlines takes another step forward today as TWA's employees and flights begin operating from American Airlines facilities in three cities.

American Airlines is now the parent company of TWA, and is in the process of integrating TWA into the American Airlines system.

As of today, TWA's Las Vegas, Nashville, and Pittsburgh customers will find both airlines' ticket counters right next to each other in the airports' terminals. TWA flights now will arrive and depart from American Airlines' gates. In Nashville and Pittsburgh, customers will also now pick up checked bags from American Airlines' baggage claim areas. At the ticket counters and at the gates, temporary TWA signs will help passengers find their way. These signs will remain in place until TWA is fully integrated into American Airlines.
