Transworld First JFK-SFO

Usually fly CO here, but no BizFirst seats left for my date (not flying the 738 transcon) and wondered if the First seat on TWA's 757 is any good. Anyone had the pleasure (or displeasure?)

Unfortunately I can't compare it to the seats of Continental's (haven't flown them in awhile). They are nice, not as nice as BusinessFirst's seats though (no where nears!) Although if you get a chance to do that TRANSCON route on a 767, you will find yourself not regretting having to fly TWA vice Continental for this upcoming journey of yours.

Thanks, Johnny!

Those BizFirst seats are awesome, but not too picky here, and not enough flights. I like the space (which is why I like First.) Since TWA started a non-stop to SNA (where my family is,) I may start using them more often. I'll look for the 767s. Again, thanks!

TW's 757s are nice aircraft, and similar in F to CO's in a non-BF configuration. The seats are wide for a narrowbody, and have about the same legroom as F on any domestic 757.

Some of the planes are equipped with the little, metal fold down footrests, and most have "winged" headrests. No lumbar support or laptop power...entertainment is provided in the form of drop-down LCD screens.

I've done sfo-jfk on the 757, its okay, it just feels really tight. I agree w/JohnnyUSMC
the 767 is much nicer, in a more "TWO" international service.

I haven't flown continental, but I continue to fly TWA because they are always good with the unlimited upgrades.

I did the JFK-SFO in TWFirst when the product first came out. Upper deck of the 747. Ah, those were the days!

But.... I still remember getting goldsish in a plastic drinking cup as opposed to warn nuts in a dish!
