Good ol' Uncle Carl, won't give up, looking for another drop of blood from this squashed turnip!

Maybe: I can't defend Carlo's approach to running an airline (heck, he yanked the slidewalks out of my beautiful Big Bird at JFK!) but the business of Compton & Gitner turning down a financing offer from GE and Boeing (their main creditors) because some real professionals would be brought in to run the airline smacks of the same kind of arrogance that has characterized TW operations since the employees 'rescued' the line from Carlo the Raider. Pretty sure that the chances of AA buying anything except the pieces ala Delta / PanAm are coming close to zilch and what the heck do I DO with all the TW miles now?

If he does something for the shareholders, then I welcome back Carl Icahn with open arms.

Just filed a complaint on TWA with the SEC.

Uncle Carl cares nothing for the shareholders, he'd screw his grandmother to make a buck.

The only ones who can expect to benefit from "Uncle Carl's" intervention are those who have passed their bar exams.
