FFB Miles info from TWA's website
The following was taken from a Q&A section on TWA's website:
Q. What will happen to my frequent flier miles? A. TWA will continue to operate as usual during the course of the proceedings. Passengers will not be affected in any way - flight schedules will remain the same and we will continue to honor purchased tickets as we normally would. We will honor your Aviators miles earned before the filing and miles will continue to accrue during the proceeding as they normally would. Q. What will happen to my frequent flier miles when TWA is integrated into American? A. Very soon, TWA passengers who are AAdvantage members can begin accruing AAdvantage miles on TWA flights. It is American's intention to as quickly as possible obtain court and regulatory approval to do two things: Enable TWA customers to begin accruing AAdvantage miles on TWA flights; Subsequently, to announce procedures to protect the mileage balances of Aviators members. I heard from my brother (AA pilot who happens to live here in STL and is pleased as punch) that the AA miles on TWA flights will begin on 17 January 2001.
