Need advice re 90,000 mile two first class tix to europe award.I have coupon which expires July 9 and cannot find a seat anywhere this summer.Have tried previous summers but same old story.Should I book any available date for fall/winter and then try to change reservation later or what?Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

You definitely need to turn the coupon into a ticket prior to July 9. You then have another year to use it. You can change the destination if necessary, but don't lose the certificate.

I would imagine though with the serious reduction in international routes and the large number of travelers who have cashed in these equity awards, you are going to have a difficult time using them.

Now yhat you are you holding a cert. and since the date for requesting FF awards past you have no choice but to get a date as late as you can and keep checking back BUT I WOULDNT HOLD MY BREATH. Keep in mind if you don't use the tkt by 7/01 you can redeposit the miles into your acct, yes they will be good only for aviator awards, and il'll cost a fee to do so but it'll be better than nothing.I have the same prob only being a PLATINUM member there aren't any capacity controls. I'm more worried if TWA will be around a year from now!
