excerpt from twa letter - 24nov98:

"As an Elite1 member, every time you purchase tickets and fly 3,000 actual miles on domestic F,C,Y,B fares or 7,000 actual miles on Q,K,V,T,H,S fares, you earn four 500-mile upgrade certificates...

"Today we are pleased to introduce (that) certificates will be electronically deposited in your portfolio.

"To introduce you to the convenience of Electronic Upgrades, on December 1, 1998, we will place four 500-mile upgrades in your portfolio for future domestic travel."
