Contract lounge in SCL?
 

I plan to go to TK's new destination, SCL and I wonder, which lounge will they use there? I can't find any information about it and what's worse, according to *A lounge finder, there's no lounge for *A passengers. I hope that TK will not treat SCL the same way as ARN, where there's (as far as I know) no lounge for their pax.

This type of information isn't easy to come by even for the destinations that they are currently flying to. It will be unlikely to find an answer before they start the flights.

A few months back at ARN there was a TK logo outside the terrible Pearl Lounge. I didn't try access (1. It's an awful lounge, 2. I have a Platinum Amex and the Pontus lounge is pretty good.)

When did TK customers stop getting access to SK lounges at ARN? Was it when SK joined Sky Team or even earlier?

TK stopped allowing lounge access at ARN around the SAS Skyteam transition (Sep 1st - ish). I have been through there and departing on TK twice in business class since then, and have asked about lounge access both times, and the check in agent stated no more SAS lounge access at ARN due to SAS departure from star alliance. They are very unapologetic about it

SK was in Star Alliance until the day before they joined SkyTeam, so it definitely didn't happen earlier. Since TK didn't negotiate a new contract with SK, the access was removed on 1 September.

Any updates on lounge access at SCL for TK J flights or *G lounge access at SCL?

I forgot the name but it was a generic Priority Pass Lounge (I think Primeclass?)
On my visit it was very small, not very clean and the food was meh.
The message I sent my friend flying out from SCL a few days after me was "eat breakfast at the hotel, don't bother going to the lounge"

If you time it right you won't need the lounge, which would be the perfect strategy. If you just want a coffee and dont mind the cramped conditions the lounge is waiting for you .

For future readers … the lounge TK uses at SCL is PrimeClass Pacifica located near the E gates.

I have to say it is pretty grim - the photos are way better than real life. 90% of the windows face a concrete overhang and a perfect view of a car park. One corner has an apron view where we had to ask for the floor and two chairs to be cleaned. We will try to sit here for two hours. But we will fail. The main terminal is SO much nicer.
