I知 assuming that the status match calculator for difference classes is on the airline that you are flying on, not the code share. Is that correct? To reach Elite status you need 40,000 Status miles. I知 guessing that theses are actual miles and are not affected by your class of travel. Is that correct? When you are progressing up through the tiers then your status boasts your Status miles. Correct? Thanks In advance Many many thanks I think that I get it now. I went the ownrudge site and couldn稚 believe how generous the scheme is. My flights are London to Zurich (b) the onto BKK (f) then Sin (b) then Syd (f) as back the same route. My next trip is Lon to Frankfurt (b) then BKK (f) then Syd (f) and back the same route. If I entered everything correctly that gets me around 84,000 Status miles enough for 2 years at this level Elite+ I paid 6,000 UK pds each flight to Lufthansa when BA is more like 10k plus I get to fly one leg in Singapore Suites. |

im on 24188 status miles, just 812 status miles short of reaching classing plus, and working towards Elite im debating whether I should top up 1000 with usd70 to reach classic plus, knowing I have another round of flight coming up. (I知 flying with LX, those flights will give me another 13134 status miles-only if my calculations are correct) my questions would be 1) I致e been in touch with Turkish miles CS trying to verify whether the usd70 top up / 1000 status miles will actually get me upgraded to classic elite instantly, they are not giving me a clear answer but the website says so 2) if I致e reached classic elite will I earn any bonus status miles for any of my upcoming flights with LX? 3) if not I should actually book a flight to fly and an extra 2678 status miles, so I値l definitely have 40000 status miles ie Elite member within 12 months 4) or should I wait at the end of my LX flight (which is next month) to make sure my calculations are correct. By then I値l be on classic plus, and to pay usd2100 to purchase 3000 status miles? thoughts please? Thanks!!! |
