Never used TK before. I am trying to search for a price for a multi-city itinerary ECN-ZAG-JFK-ECN. I can find the individual flights but when I try to use the multi-city feature I get "We do not have any flights on the date and route you have selected or all our flights are sold out. Please change the date and/or route for a new flight search." I am checking the flexible dates box and looking for business class flights. This is for April/May 2024. Any suggestions on getting the multi-city function to work?"

well. there is no Turkish flight from ZAG to NYC. it would have to route back through Turkey. That might not be possible with the multi-city-search as you have to touch IST twice on the outbound - ECN-IST-ZAG/ZAG-IST-NYC/NYC-IST-ECN
Maybe try to book ZAG-JFK-ECN and an additional oneway ECN-ZAG. That should be possible.

A few years ago, I had a comparable complex itinerary. I was able to ticket it on TK website and it turned out to be a single PNR with 2 ticket numbers. Try calling TK call center and see if they can help.
Reread OPs post. They definitely meant that all flights are routed via IST even if they didnt expressively say so.

That's a shame - other airlines can do this sort of thing online. I wanted to do it online to get an idea of whether the price was reasonable. Piecing it together segment by segment doesn't really give a good idea of the price. I do realize that I will be going through IST several times - I didn't include the transits at IST as part of my itinerary.

I had the similar problem. For whatever reason TK didn't work (their website has always been crap. Glad to see no improvement in last 10 years) and I had to buy from Expedia. Which was a big mistake (due to trying to change a flight) in the end that I regret today.
However if you are 100% sure about your travels you can use another agent then TK website.
