Confusion about a flight operating or not.
Hi all,
I am a bit confused: whe have a booking on TK731 (MLE-IST) on November 29th, BUT, travel apps like Trip case or search engines like google flights or ITA say there’s no TK731 on 29th November. When trying to make a new booking on their website TK731 isn’t bookable either. I asked the Turkish customer service if TH731 will be operated on the 29th, but they don’t seem to understand the question as they answered twice: your booking is OK without answering the question itself. We are a bit concerned they will rebook us, last minute, on the earlier TK735, which leaves before our arrival in MLE.
Any tips on how to find out what’s going on? Thanks a lot.

Flight number is different tough.
Found TK731, it is operated on both 28 and 30 Nov, but not on 29 Nov.

Would GDS show all zeros in case the flight is sold out or would it simply no show the flight?

In the mean time I got the cancellation message from Turkish, rebooking via the app was straight forward and even allowed changing the unaffected leg free of charge.

Yes of course.
TK policy for amending affected itineraries is very generous. I love TK schedule changes or cancellations ;-)
So problem solved. Always be a bit patient and wait for notification rather than start calling TK, OTA etc on your own...
