TK's availability on Expert Flyer
 
I notice that on EF, TK's availability number maxes out at 4 for business class but maxes out at 9 for economy. Does anyone know why? To me, it's not as informative as other *A (AC, LH) availability .

TK is not part of the joint-venture program ( LH, LX, UA, OS, SN, AC, etc... ) and they prefer to max Business Class availability at 4 rather than 9.
There are other airlines that max availability at 7.

Expertflyer can't do anything on this as this is beyond their control.

It is up to the airline to decide how they would like to be displayed in GDS'es or other distribution platforms. For example most airlines do not show redemption booking classes, but TK shows.

I am not sure if EF is fed by any GDS or they built their own API to connect directly to TK system, but ultimately this is TK decision how they would like to market their availability.

It is not only with EF. You can’t buy 5 J tickets directly with TK in a single transaction, only 4 or less.
