The up-to-date information about TK long-haul operations could be found here in this WIKI. Please keep in mind that the schedule is always subject to change and the information in this WIKI could be invalid anytime.

This WIKI is last updated at:
08 July 2020

The CURRENT FLIGHT PLAN is published here, but SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED, as Turkish Airlines published a list of services that were to resume in July. Many of these promised services have since been cancelled.
It is advisable that you DO NOT TRUST ANY PUBLISHED SCHEDULES FROM Turkish Airlines as the airline has changed schedules at a moment's notice, leaving passengers stranded.
A number of cancellations have occurred 1-2 days before a long-haul flight was due to take place in early July (e.g. LAX)
The airline call centers are hard to reach if you want to change your flight.
If you buy a ticket you will not get your money back until the situation is over.
Thus it is advisable to look at historical on-time performance for the route you are considering booking and seriously consider alternative options if you want to get to your destination and not be stranded.

Except that their 4x weekly to LAX hasn't operated more than 1 flight since JUL 01 (0.5 flights/week). I haven't checked others but I assume there are similar cancelations so YMMV and buyer beware - they can cancel on you at the last minute.
I wouldn't trust that published schedule at all.

two of my flights in August are no longer flying. IAD and YYZ don’t operate on Saturday, when calling TK they say they see they are not operating but they have to charge me to get the miles back because it’s still showing as not cancelled in their system although they know it’s not showing in schedule. Logic defies this insane airline.

just wait 1-2 days. I already saw for some of my flights yesterday that they weren't in schedule anymore, but the booking still showed them as confirmed.
today I got a lot of cancellations.
If the flight is not operating, they will eventually cancel your booking. They seem to first adjust the schedule, then send out cancellations.

My IST-MIA flight has been cancelled twice, so I am surprised they are increasing the number as they aren't even operating what they have said they would.

According to this it wasn't supposed to start until 15 July.

It was originally (in late June) announced to start on 01 JUL, which it did - there was a flight on 01 JUL.
On 02 JUL they cancelled the flights for 02, 03 and 05 JUL.
I checked today everything through 15 JUL is cancelled, even though their site says "4 flights per week as of July 8."

Don't expect things to restart 15 JUL.
Don't believe any schedule that TK publishes.
Don't give TK your money - you WILL NOT get it back for quite some time.

Just to correct, TK started LAX flights on the last week of June ( if I'm not wrong 24 June ), then as you've mentioned above they operated the final flight on 1 July and they cancelled the remainder of the flights until 8 July and then extended the cancellation deadline to 15 July.

By the way, be aware that if TK cancels your flight later than the 15 days deadline, you could simply be asked to be rerouted on United to IAD and ORD and then with TK. The hotline agents would not be able to do this but a sales office would help you in this case.

Also, Palal , this wouldn't apply for your case as you haven't booked directly with Turkish Airlines, in %99,9 of the cases, TK sales offices do not touch booking issued by other means ( a TA, another FFP program, etc... )

And, yes, TK is allowed to hold giving refunds until 10 August 2020, and later on, they need to pay it according to the Turkish SHGM regulations ( unless the regulation would be modified in a later stage ). Plus for US departures passengers are free to file a DoT complaint if the refund is not processed within 7 days of the cancellation.

Thanks to the August Schedule being published today, I noticed that both my Wife and myself were booked on TK Flights JFK to IST that were not going to operate in August. As such, I was able to call the Call Center and change both our flights on the Outbound to TK 12 that seems to be operating currently. Hopefully they will not make changes to this OUTBOUND Schedule. changes were done without any extra charges.

Istanbul – Guangzhou eff 18JUL20 1 weekly 777-300ER

July 2020 Flight Plan on TK website also says IST - CAN restarting from July 17, but flights cannot be booked or found online. Think TK still waiting for permission to restart this route?

TK added an extra IST-IAD-IST service on 11 July ( Saturday ).
The reason is unknown at the moment but probably it's added to accommodate those passengers originally booked on LAX and MIA flights.

Would think ORD and IAD are the most likely US flights to stick with more frequency with the UA connections available.

I would think they would want to use EWR over JFK for the same reason, but EWR going from 0 to daily seems sort of unlikely.

It's interesting that the EWR flight has a horrible departure time from IST for onward UA pax, if I'm not wrong it arrives after 21:30 ( 9:30pm ) at EWR which does not allow passengers to make a UA domestic connection the same day.

I assume that they are adding EWR because of the high amount of Turkish, Indian, Pakistani, Iranian, etc... descent people in the area rather than EWR being a UA hub.

With the current schedule, ORD and IAD are the best points for TK passengers to connect to UA flights. When TK 187 ( the second daily service to IAD ) comes back, it would be the best connection option for TK->UA as it arrives at IAD somewhere before noon.

no cancellation emails still and they won’t rebook me on another flight with availability until the original flight shows cancelled on their system. By the time it will be actually cancelled the award space on other flights may disappear. This is just an illogical and frustrating process.
